Eco Tourist Facility : LMCC

Plans were prepared for submission to Lake Macquarie City Council for a proposed eco-tourist facility that integrates sustainable accommodation and thoughtfully designed communal spaces. The development aims to offer a low-impact, nature-based visitor experience while preserving the site’s natural beauty and ecological character.

The proposal includes a series of Bed and Breakfast cabins, each positioned to maximise privacy, orientation, and views. Designated picnic and barbecue areas support outdoor living and foster a sense of community among guests, while the site’s elevated outlook offers sweeping views of the surrounding landscape—one of the defining features of the visitor experience.

This concept reflects a balance between environmental sensitivity and functional design, promoting sustainable tourism through well-considered planning and amenity provision.
