Meet The Team
Ashneel Singh
Director / Accredited Building Designer (BDAA: 6793-21)
Ashneel is a registered design consultant and proud member of the Building Designers Association of Australia. He completed his diploma in Architecture in 2002 in Fiji, and while still a student he was offered a position as a junior Draftsperson in an Architectural firm back in Fiji and he made his way up as Senior Designer and Draftsperson before he migrated to Australia. Ashneel actively pursues his academic interests by participating in regular Continuous Professional Development (CPD) sessions facilitated by the association and other hosting associations in the building industry.
With a remarkable 24 years of experience under his belt, Ash’s journey began in 2000 with 8 years spent in prominent Architectural Practices in Fiji. Following this, he was offered a role in Gold Coast, Australia and migrated in 2008. Since then, he has been involved in construction project management, collaborating closely with construction companies, interior designers, builders, and developers in Australia.
After extensive hands-on experience, in 2016 Ash started AMS Design & Drafting as a sole trader. In year 2021, Ash transitioned into a leadership role as the Managing Head of AMS Design & Drafting. Under his guidance, AMS Design & Drafting has undertaken a diverse range of projects spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and health sectors. His steadfast dedication to excellence and innovation continues to drive the success of AMS Design & Drafting with continuous growth of projects and staff.
Moreen Lal
Assistant Admin
Moreen is the backbone of the company and spouse of Managing Head. She has been with AMS Design & Drafting since the start and has always helped and advice towards the growth of the company. She has her qualifications in the childcare sector. She administers and manages all the events for the office. Along with that, she makes everyone’s wellbeing a point and keeps a check on staff amenities and needs.
Rupinder Kaur
Designer (Graduate M. Arch)
Rupinder is a Graduate Architect, with her master’s degree in architecture from the University of Newcastle, Australia. She began her professional journey, garnering two years of invaluable experience in the field in India, which inspired her for attaining higher education.
Transitioning to Australia, she has spent over 2.5 years honing her skills and embracing new perspectives in architectural practice. Her multicultural background enriches her approach to design, infusing it with diverse influences and innovative ideas. Currently on the path towards architectural registration, she is committed to continuous growth and development within her profession.
Central to her ethos is the belief that creativity and sustainability are not mutually exclusive but rather integral components of responsible and forward-thinking design. Embracing this philosophy, she strives to integrate sustainable principles into her practice, contributing to the creation of built environments that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally conscious.
Mylanie Ronquillo
Designer (B.S Arch)
Mylanie Ronquillo has a wide experience in diverse projects. After graduating in 2003, Mylanie started as an Architectural Draftsperson in Philippines and then after a year of experience moved on to the Designation of Designer, honing her skills in residential, institutional and hospitality designs. She also works in MTEC Water Treatment Technologies, a Japanese company which specializes in construction and design of various environmental facilities.
After attaining her Architect’s Licence in 2007, she became part of ADD+ Consortium as a Project Coordinator taking lead in preparing all drawings, conducting site coordination and inspections, obtaining building permits and monitoring project expenses for interior fit-out offices and banks.
In 2008, she pursued her career in DP Architects Pte Ltd Singapore (DP Design Pte Ltd). Throughout her years in DPA/DPD, she was involved in diverse and large-scale projects such as Hospitals, Hotels, Senior Care Centre, shopping malls, Military and Community Hub and Schools from design to construction stage. In 2021, Mylanie joined K.H. Land Pte. Ltd. – Interior Design Team and was part of the Grand Hyatt Singapore hotel renovation. With 20 years of the experience and expertise Mylanie brings a great deal of potential, creativity and ideas to AMS Design and Drafting and making an integral part of the team
Caitlin Hong
Designer (Graduate M. Arch)
With hands-on experience in community, residential, and medical design, she is passionate about shaping spaces that feel inviting and foster genuine connections. She enjoys blending technical skills with creative flair to make each design functional yet inspiring.
As a Designer at AMS Design and Drafting, she is grateful to work alongside a fantastic team that encourages her to refine her expertise in drafting, spatial planning, and digital walkthroughs. She brings fresh ideas to every project and aims to make an authentic impact. For her, each design is an opportunity to create environments that resonate with people’s lives and add a touch of joy to their everyday experiences.
Anuva Mahi Singh
Intern
Mahi is the youngest in the team yet very enigmatic part of AMS Design and Drafting. Currently undertaking her final year of High School, she is also pursuing School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBA/Ts) in Fundamental design (Certificate 3).
She brings to the table a very fresh perspective and is very keen about the designing process. With her brilliant academic background, Mahi intends to pursue interior design after school while gaining working experience in the industry.
