Conceptual plans were developed for a distinctive café experience set within a decommissioned aircraft, envisioned for a tropical site in Fiji. The design reimagines the aircraft as an immersive hospitality venue—celebrating aviation heritage while engaging with the surrounding island landscape.
The concept integrates indoor and outdoor seating areas, with the fuselage repurposed as a central dining space. Emphasis was placed on spatial flow, ventilation, and user experience, with openings and extensions thoughtfully introduced to enhance natural light, airflow, and connection to the lush setting.
This project explores adaptive reuse in a playful yet purposeful way—transforming a retired plane into a community-oriented destination that merges novelty with function, and architecture with narrative.
